The durations given are those of the manufacturer's sheets. When a value is not confirmed, we say so rather than make it up.

Put the cap on
Nomade: slide the plate into the cap. Souple: plug it in through its control unit. Pro: once charged, it goes on as it is.

Start the session
One press of the button is all it takes (a long press on the Souple). The Pro also offers 3 intensity levels.

Let the session finish
20 minutes on the Souple, then automatic shut-off. The Pro also switches itself off. Nomade session length: not provided by the manufacturer.

What the research says
A real subject of study, not a promise
Red light applied to the scalp has been the subject of controlled trials and several meta-analyses. We read them, with their limits and the views of dermatologists.
- The studies concern specific devices, with their own wavelengths, doses and protocols. None has been carried out on a Hairynov cap.
- A 2025 review rates the certainty of the evidence as “moderate” at best, and the French Society of Dermatology considers that laser has not shown sufficient efficacy to be recommended.
- If you are losing hair, the first step is still to see a doctor or a dermatologist.

How long is a session?
It depends on the model. On the Souple, 20 minutes, with automatic shut-off. The Pro also switches off automatically at the end of the session, but the manufacturer does not give the exact length, nor for the Nomade.
How often should I use it?
3 to 4 sessions a week, the rhythm given on our product pages for a regular scalp care routine.
What is the difference between the three models?
The Nomade is the lightest, with a removable diode plate. The Souple, in foldable neoprene, has 120 red and near-infrared diodes. The Pro offers 272 red-light diodes and 3 adjustable intensities. The comparison table on this page covers the rest.
Are the caps cordless?
The Nomade and the Pro are: they are rechargeable and can be used without being plugged in. The Souple is wired, plugged in through its control unit.
Does the Pro emit infrared?
No, it emits red light only. In the range, it is the Souple that combines red light and near-infrared (830 nm).
What about delivery and the guarantee?
Delivery is free, with a tracking number emailed to you when your order ships, no later than 30 days from your order as set out in our terms and conditions of sale. You have 14 days from receipt to exercise your right of withdrawal, and the 2-year legal guarantee of conformity.
How do I track my order?
Your tracking number is emailed to you when your order ships. You can also find your orders in the “My account” area, by signing in with a code received by email.
How do I return a cap?
Within 14 days of receipt, write to us through the contact page: we will give you the return address. Return shipping is at your expense (flat rate of €6) and we refund all sums paid no later than 14 days after receiving your decision. Details are on the Shipping and returns page.
Do the studies on red light concern your caps?
No. Published trials concern specific devices, with their own wavelengths, power and protocols, and their conclusions do not carry over from one device to another. No study has been carried out on a Hairynov cap.
What should I do if I am losing my hair?
See a doctor or a dermatologist. Hair loss can have several causes, some of which can be treated, and only an examination can identify them. A wellness device does not replace that diagnosis.
Is it a medical device?
